Who Can Join A Bike Tour? How about Kids?

Anyone with basic proficiency in riding a bicycle. The oldest guest who completed our tour was an 82-year old grandpa! Our pace is relaxed; it’s a sightseeing bike tour, not a race.
Our bikes are adjustable for persons’ heights of 1.3m to 1.9m. For safety we do not allow children below 1.3m. Children seats are available for rental only for Private Tours.

  • Not suitable for those who do not know how to ride a bicycle (we do not have training wheels)
  • Not suitable if you are not confident in riding a bicycle on shared pedestrian paths and narrow streets
  • Children under 8 years
  • Pregnant women
  • People with mobility impairments

Please turn up regardless of the weather. We will continue cycling in light rain (it’s very nice actually) but will pause for shelter if visibility or safety is compromised. In this case your Tour Guide will bring you to a safe place to rest and wait for the rain to subside (usually 30-45 minutes). Ponchos are available upon request.

In the rare event that the ride cannot even start due to prolonged rain (over 45 minutes), we will refund 50% of tour fee or offer an alternative date. Please note that cancellations/refunds are decided by us.

We recommend riding on your 1st or 2nd day in Singapore as we will show you interesting places that you can explore again another day!
If you are arriving on a long-haul flight, please ensure sufficient rest before coming on tour.

Bring a CAMERA and some cash. Use a pouch or small bag for your personal items. You can leave luggage or bigger bags in our shop.

Think HOT & HUMID SUMMER. Wear a light cotton top and shorts/bermudas, comfortable shoes, sunglasses and sunblock. Bike helmets are provided but you may wear a cap/hat. Jewellery, flip-flops, jeans, dresses, skirts, thick-clothes and valuables are discouraged.

Where Is Your Shop? How far from my Hotel? Do You Provide Pickup?

No need for a hotel pickup as we are centrally located at Crawford Lane, in the Bugis/Lavender area. If your hotel is in this area, we are 5-15 minute walk away, just ask the concierge to point you the right way!

From other hotels in the city, we are 10-20 minute taxi ride away or you can also take the MRT (subway) and walk from Lavender station – walking map may be found under ‘Contact‘ or upon tour signup. Singapore’s public transport is safe and relatively inexpensive compared to major cities.

Why Do I Have To Pay First? Can I Pay When I Arrive?

Our groups have a limited size, typically 1 guide up to 15 guests. And we need to ensure there are bicycle available for everyone. That is why we only accept bookings with payment.

Also, as a fair employer in Singapore, we pay our guides even when guests do not show up.

Rest assured with our fair Cancellation Policy – see below.

You will receive a full refund if we receive your cancellation notice at least 48 hours before your tour starts.

There is strictly no refund:

  • For cancellation notice received within 48 hours of tour start
  • For tours that were previously rescheduled by you
  • If you arrive late and the group has departed
  • If you did not turn up

If we cancel the tour, you will receive either a full refund or an alternative date/time

Is It safe?

We cycle at a leisurely pace mainly on side walks, alleys and park connectors, but it is unavoidable that we will ride on the main road for short distances. Many of the city’s streets are shared with pedestrians, so participants have to be able to be confident in cycling.

Each group is accompanied by our Guide who knows the local terrain. You must follow his/her instructions at all times.

Typical day temperatures range from 28-33c with high humidity. We will continue cycling in light rain (it’s very nice actually) but will pause for shelter if visibility or safety is compromised. In this case your Guide will bring you to a safe place to rest and wait for the rain to subside (usually 30-45 minutes). Ponchos available upon request.
No refunds are given once the ride commences.

In the rare event that the ride cannot even start due to prolonged rain (over 45 minutes), we will refund 50% of tour fee or offer an alternative date. Please note that cancellations/refunds are decided by us.

Safety is our Number 1 priority. Let’s Go will not allow any person who is a safety concern, on the tour. These include (but not limited to):

  • Incompetence on bicycle
  • Under influence (alcohol, drugs, etc.)
  • Behaviour that prevents others from enjoying the tour
  • Disregarding Tour Guide’s instructions
  • Racing, deviating from route, cycling faster than the Guide, etc.

No refunds provided for any of the above. Before departure you must attend a safety briefing and sign an agreement. You MUST follow our Guide’s instructions at all times.

General Singapore Bike Tour FAQ

Are your bike tours suitable for beginners?

Yes. Most of our bike tours are designed for casual riders and beginners with basic cycling ability. Singapore is relatively flat, and our routes are carefully planned to use park connectors, quieter roads, cycling paths, and scenic waterfront routes where possible.

Our bike tours are generally easy to moderate in difficulty. We cycle at a relaxed sightseeing pace with regular stops for storytelling, photos, hydration, and breaks.

No special fitness level is required. If you are comfortable riding a bicycle for a few hours at a leisurely pace, you should be able to enjoy the tour.

We use comfortable full-sized city and hybrid bicycles suitable for sightseeing around Singapore. Bikes are regularly maintained for safety and comfort.

We use full-sized bicycles because they generally offer a more stable, comfortable, and natural riding experience compared with smaller foldable bicycles, especially over longer sightseeing routes.

Foldable bicycles are useful for portability, but for a multi-hour guided city tour, many guests find full-sized bicycles more comfortable and confidence-inspiring. They are better suited for Singapore’s waterfront routes, park connectors, heritage districts, and longer urban cycling paths.

This allows guests to cover more ground comfortably while still enjoying a relaxed sightseeing pace.

Yes. Helmets are provided and strongly encouraged for all guests.

Currently, we do not provide e-bikes. Singapore regulations and the nature of our routes make standard bicycles more suitable for our tour experience.

Yes. As a rule of thumb, children aged 8 and above who are confident riders may join our shared group bike tours.

For younger children, we recommend booking a private bike tour instead. This allows the guide to adjust the pace, route, and breaks around the child’s needs, which may not be possible on a shared join-in tour.

Singapore is generally a safe city for cycling. Our licensed guides are experienced in managing groups and selecting safe, enjoyable routes.

Most of the tour uses cycling paths, park connectors, promenades, quieter streets, and heritage areas. Some short road sections may be necessary depending on the route.

We recommend comfortable casual clothing, covered shoes or sneakers, and light breathable attire suitable for Singapore’s tropical weather.

We recommend bringing a water bottle, sunglasses, sunscreen, a small towel, and your phone or camera for photos.

Singapore’s weather can be very localised. Rain at your location does not necessarily mean it is raining at our shop or along the cycling route. Guests are still required to arrive at the shop as scheduled.

For light rain, ponchos will be available and the tour may continue. The guide will assess the weather conditions on-site. If there is persistent heavy rain, lightning, or unsafe cycling conditions, we may delay, adjust, postpone, or reschedule the tour where possible.

Yes. Luggage can be stored safely at our shop throughout the duration of your tour with us.

Most tours are operated as small-group shared tours. Private bike tours can also be arranged upon request.

We generally keep our bike tours small and personal to ensure a better experience and safer ride.

Yes. Our tours are conducted by licensed Singapore tourist guides who combine local storytelling, history, culture, and insider knowledge.

Some tours include local snacks or food tastings depending on the product selected. Certain tours may also include hawker food experiences.

Yes. Please inform us in advance so we can advise or make arrangements where possible.

Meeting point details will be provided in your booking confirmation email and WhatsApp reminder before the tour.

We recommend arriving at least 10–15 minutes before the tour start time for bike fitting and safety briefing.

Tours depart on time out of consideration for all guests. Late arrivals may miss the tour and may be treated as no-shows once the group has departed.

Absolutely. Our tours include many scenic photo opportunities, and guides are usually happy to assist with taking photos for guests.

Tipping is not compulsory in Singapore, but always appreciated if you enjoyed the experience.

Cycling allows you to experience more of Singapore in a fun, immersive, and personal way. You can cover more ground than walking while still accessing hidden areas that large buses cannot reach.

It is also a great first-day activity for visitors. A guided bike tour helps you get your bearings, understand how different districts connect, and discover neighbourhoods, food spots, viewpoints, and cultural areas that you may want to return to and explore more deeply later in your trip.
